Previous Entry28 Mar/03 - The Threat of SARS

So, life is filled with surprises at every turn.

When I finally came to terms with the fact that I had to stay until the end of June, I discovered news that would lead to cancelling my dance classes for the remainder of the summer.

The past 2 weeks have been a montage of events that result in a constant change of plans. I feel as if doors are opening all around me and I have only to pick one and walk though; but from where I'm standing, you can't see much of what's on the other side of the door. There are rare moments in people's lives when the dream is being shaped on the go. A strange, yet exciting feeling, all the possibilities in life seem infinite.

As it turns out, due to the unexpected changes in plans, I'm now headed toward Argentina again! Yeah! Plans are to stay for 1 month, and then off to Peru to climb Macchu Pichu with my dearest cousin and then head back toward Vegas and finally Taipei. Hoping for all the powers in the Universe to also throw in Puerto Rico on the way. We've still got our fingers crossed on that one!

Departure is on Monday, May 26th, Memorial Day in the US and the end of the LA Salsa Congress.

As for Salsa in Taipei, it's off to a great start. No matter that there is a slight obstacle in consistency due to widespread SARS concerns. Taipei is a great venue for Salsa and I'm eager to see it explode here!

Hasta pronto todos mis amigos! Next stop, Vegas.
